How to Use the Saving Thousands’ Rules
That’s a big part of why I created the rules, so people can have a guidebook. They can’t catch every money minute. They can’t catch every radio show I do. So, to kind of consolidate it down to the 15 Rules, which they can’t get off your Twitter feed, or wherever we have that posted.
It’s a great New Year’s resolution. It’s going to help you save money. It’s going to help you fight back, make better decisions. A lot of this stuff is pretty easy to follow, it’s just a matter of making it part of your life.
There’s no special skill to this. You don’t need a Ph.D. in mathematics to take control of your personal finances. You just have to be aware. That’s really what the rules are. It’s about making you aware and giving you some basic things to follow to make better decisions. To wait three days before making a large purchase. To shop around before making purchases.
All the stuff, deep down, we know we should do. But, when you’ve got the list of 15 in front of you, you say this is it. This is the year I’m going to put these to play, I’m going to money, and I’m going to make better decisions.
